Our Commitment

How We Use Your Support

Stray Paws Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN: 87-2538665.

Where Donations Go

We are a small, volunteer-run nonprofit focused on direct impact. Our donations go directly toward helping animals in need and supporting the community that makes this work possible.

Every dollar we raise is channeled toward the animals in our care — covering veterinary services, food, supplies, spay/neuter procedures, and the TNR program that helps manage community cat populations across Kern County.

Because we are 100% volunteer-run, no donations pay for staff salaries. The people who make this work possible — fosters, volunteers, coordinators — do it because they love these animals. That's what keeps our rescue going.

Animal Care

Veterinary visits, spay/neuter procedures, vaccinations, and emergency treatment for cats in our care.

Foster Support

Food, supplies, and guidance provided to our foster network — the families who open their homes to animals in need.

TNR Program

Trapping, transport, and recovery support for community cats across Kern County — reducing overpopulation humanely.
